Cloudcontrol Base began when a letterer, a colourist, and a writer who had shared Fantastic Four trades since school decided family scenes deserved the same weight as rooftop battles. Hawthorpe is far from a convention hall. That distance is useful: we can look at a kettle and a force-field in the same panel without a booth schedule interrupting the pencils.
Why family editions
Marvel NFT comics too often freeze a punch. We freeze a breakfast. The Fantastic Four are a household first: Reed’s distraction, Sue’s patience, Johnny’s heat, Ben’s stubborn kindness. Retro-futurist dressing — chrome toasters, rocket-shaped salt, Kirby crackle in the steam — keeps the 1960s charge without turning the kitchen into a control room.
Tokens exist so a collector in another county can prove which numbered sheet they hold. They are not the story. The story is still ink on a page, and the page is still about a family that happens to catch cosmic weather.

Scripts and panel rhythm. Keeps cosmic captions shorter than the dialogue around the sink.
Priya Nand
Colour holds and print pairing. Mixes Baxter blue so it survives both screen and Somerset paper.
Tom Hale
Lettering, colophons, mill liaison. Sets the token number in the same hand as the page numbers.
How we work with you
Commissions start with a written brief, not a moodboard dump. We want names, ages, which relative should carry Ben’s posture, and whether the house has a real staircase we should measure. You see thumbnails, then pencils, then a colour hold. The token is minted only after you sign the print proof in the reading room or by posted wet-proof if you cannot travel to Hawthorpe.
We do not claim publisher contracts. We make original sequential fiction in the Fantastic Four family register, issued as Marvel NFT comics in the collector sense of numbered digital-and-paper editions. If a likeness must be altered for legal quiet, we say so before pencils start.
