Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a site. Cloudcontrol Base uses as few as will still let the consent banner remember your choice. This page is the record of what we set. The privacy note explains how we use personal information more broadly.
Types we use
Essential. Required to remember whether you have accepted or refused extra cookies, so the banner does not return every time you open a page. The site’s pages, briefs, and edition wall work if you refuse extras.
Analytics (optional). Only if you press Accept. These help us see which field notes are read. They are not required to send a brief or to view editions. If you press Reject extra cookies, we do not set them.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| cloudcontrolbase_cookie_consent | Stores your Accept or Reject choice for the banner | 1 year (localStorage) | Cloudcontrol Base |
| ccb_essential | Marks that the consent record is present for this browser | Session | Cloudcontrol Base |
| _ccb_read | Optional count of field-note reads; set only after Accept | 6 months | Cloudcontrol Base |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also clear stored data for this site in your browser settings, which will show the banner again. Browser controls differ; look for cookies or local storage under privacy settings.
Third-party cookies
We load fonts from Google Fonts. That request may allow Google to see your IP address. We do not place marketing pixels from social networks. If you Accept, we may set the optional analytics record named above; we do not currently load a third-party analytics script.
If you disable extras
Pages, images, the brief form, and the edition wall continue to work. We will simply not record optional read counts. Refusing extras does not block commissions or visits.
